A fast drying universal spot primer ideal for small rub through areas and localized repairs. Two products in one! - Direct adhesion to both metal components and flexible plastics, no adhesion promoter or etch primer required. Excellent for use on flexible bumper covers.

• Lightly abraded E-coat
• Prepared OEM paint surfaces

• TPO, EDPM, Polypropylene

TOOLS REQUIRED

• System 20 UP2012/UP2022 Solvent Based Degreaser or UP2002 Water Based Degreaser
• 180-600 Grit Sandpaper

SUBSTRATE PREPERATION

• For best results, ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned, degreased, dried and dust free.
• Abrade primed surfaces with 180-320 grit sandpaper, degrease and dry.

MIXING

• Share aerosol can for at least 2 minutes before use.

COATS

• 1-3 coats as necessary
• Build/mMIL : 0.6 MIL
• Coverage: approximately 48.4 square feet

FLASH-OFF / Min @ 68° F

• Between coats, 3-5 minutes

DRYING TIMES

• Dust free @ 68° F/ min : 5-10 minutes
• Sandable 68° F/ min : 15-20 minutes

OVERPAINTING

• SPOT#3 Universal Spot Primer Aerosol can be directly overpainted without sanding if topcoated between 15 - 30 minutes after application with most water-based or solvent-based paint systems.
• If left longer than 30 minutes, abrade with P400-600.

SHELF LIFE

• 2 years subject to proper storage conditions
• Aerosol cans should be stored for two hours at room temperature before use. For long term storage, keep in a dry well ventilated area and away from direct sunlight and frost. To clear the nozzle and maximize the lifespan of your aerosol, always invert the can and spray upside down for a few seconds after each use. Should the nozzle become blocked, remove it from the can and soak it in gentle thinners.
